Suzuki introduced the QuadSport Z400 in 2002 as a sport ATV designed to deliver the best high-performance ride available. Its liquid-cooled DOHC engine – at the time the first in its class – gave sport enthusiasts more than they thought possible from a stock ATV. And the Z’s cutting-edge style boasted of its Suzuki heritage.
Competition users loved the QuadSport Z400, too, and the machine powerfully proved itself as a winner in ATV motocross. In 2004, Doug Gust used the QuadSport Z400 to win the ATVA Pro class championship, earning the first title for a four-stroke production quad.
2009 Suzuki QuadSport Z400 ATV now features EFI just like its big brother, the LT-R450 QuadRacer ATV
For 2009, Suzuki will deliver a brand-new QuadSport LT-Z400, showcasing an exciting evolution in sport ATVs. The concept is the same: produce a sport ATV that delivers more enjoyment to a wide range of customers. But the method is new. The latest QuadSport Z400 inherits features from the Suzuki QuadRacer LT-R450: fuel injection; ECM settings for improved traction; and aggressive styling. And the new Z400 delivers all this and more in a user-friendly package that will surely keep it ahead of the pack.
